i had to record the fact that I saw Femi Oke and her inevitable cohort and straight woman Finnula something.Once I am exposed to her dangerous accent,I become hopelessly silly,and yes,it happened again!If you travel to Europe,do not miss the weather foecast delivered by Femi:she will drive you insane,you'll dream that she's lying in bed next to you,whispering a litany of natural catastrophes in the sweetest voice.

And definately a talented write it is fun to read your stuff ... amazing at how many people people are facinated by the women of media ... someone wanted to devote a website "newsbabes.com" so everyone can vote and share opinions on the "broad"casts (ouch)

you should write to the news anchors you would be surprised how many respond

we are suffering in rain and grey skies here

Daryn actually used to email me from the set of CNN during commercials to let me know what she would be doing later in the day!

I'm trying to convince Nick to launch www.newsanchorbabes.com where we would post photos of our favourite anchors and people would vote on them and we would provide a ranking. I'm certain we could get sponsors like perfumes,shampoo, make-up, etc. to finance the site.

I think news anchors who were ranked very high would be pleased about it and not offended. Those that wanted to get ranked would send in their own photos anonymously. A great many people, like you and I, have opinions on the news women they watch.

About the proposed anchors,they definitely set the tone,and can become powerful deterrents or magnets based on a host of factors.I spent years speculating about the masks we wear to survive and transact in society,and naturally the
anchors must wear theirs day after day at the risk of losing track of their real persona.The ultimate anti anchor anchor has always been
our own CTV's Lloyd what's his name Robertson.
My all time faves are Femi,and I must confess,
Rhonda Schacter....Offbeat but hey!
